Where it is better to keep your goals progress in a notebook, Excel or Notion?

Thats an important question.
Even though I consistently retarget my coaching clients to Notion, as1 I really love this free and flexible platform. I'm being honest:
WHERE you record your goals and HOW you track your progress is not that important.
There are only 2 things that matter:
Have a goal and
Go for it.
But if it were that simple, neither I nor even Tony Robinson would have a job.
So here are 3 tips for managing your goals in Notion:
Instead of solid text like here or here, enter the elements of your goal into a DATA BASE. Timelines, progress, photos ... all of this will help you filter your goals (because there will probably be several) by different properties. Also, in this way you can change the visual representation of your goals. It's a table and a gallery and a chart.
Instead of this:
Try this:
Add lots of pictures. These all visualization boards are so last century. You see a picture on Pinterest, add it to your goal. And when you review, reread - you'll have vivid visuals that work great especially for people with a visual way of sensing the world.
Costamize your goal database so that the goal is broken down into sub-goals and tasks. This way you'll reduce the pressure of a big goal on your mental state, and focus on one task at a time. Eat the elephant in bits.
